WHAT IS BODYBOX CAMP

BodyBox Camp is a non-contact boxing fitness workout. You'll be challenged by exercises that will help develop speed, fitness, agility and power - all designed to improve your skills and stamina.

 

IS BODYBOX CAMP GOOD FOR WEIGHT LOSS

BodyBox Camp is a full-body workout engaging the upper and lower body. Boxing workouts test your cardio fitness, a key components in weight-loss.

 

Between 25–30 minutes.

 

BodyBox Camp is a great aerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise gets your heart pumping and  can help lower the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.

 

The calories you burn depends on many factors such as your fitness level, height and weight. Boxfit is more intense than most cardio activities. You can expect to burn between 500 to 600 calories during a session.

 

BodyBox Camp training session involves every muscle in the body, especially the core and the shoulders. A boxing workout can help tone your legs, arms, chest, shoulders and back.

 

Come dressed in comfortable, breathable non-restrictive clothing, and training shoes with good grip as you will be training on the grass. Don’t forget to bring a towel to freshen up and a water bottle to hydrate (we have water to refill any reusable water bottle).

 

BodyBox Camp is a cardio workout based on the training used for boxing, so it includes, boxing drills including footwork and ab exercises – all focusing on fitness and toning.

 

An exercise like boxing is not knee-friendly. Boxing includes pivoting and quick changes of direction. Speak to a medical professional before you join a class.
